I don’t mean for this to sound like a moan and a groan, as I have said many times I am very lucky and happy with my lot.

However…

Do you remember when there was a Friday feeling? Perhaps some of you still have it?

I remember finishing work thinking there is nothing for me to worry about or do until Monday (or Sunday night when I would start stressing about work – the Heebie-Jeebies as my dad would call them).

In fact my favourite was Saturday morning, as that was part just before the middle of the weekend and you could think about the evening and yesterday was work and tomorrow isn’t work – Bliss.

Then married life happened and kids happened. Gone are the care free drinks or gaming binges with little to no consequences. Hello swimming, football and art class – my kids are 3 and 6 months they can do none of the preceding 3 things.

I now enjoy and revel in the Friday night drive home watching the care free folk looks forward to doing nothing.

Like I said – not complaining love family etc ☺️
